Tony Roshkov
Senior Veterinarian (BSc BVMS)
Dr Tony has graduated from Murdoch University in 1990 and spent his years since in small animal practice. Dr Tony has developed a special interest in orthopaedic surgery but still enjoys all aspects of general practice.
Dr Tony is married to Dr Jo and they have 3 children and various pets on their property including 2 dogs, chooks, ducks, various rescue birds and a huge Koi/ goldfish pond. Away from practice Tony enjoys woodworking, gardening - especially producing his own fruit and vegetables and travel.

Jo Roshkov

Dr Jo graduated from Murdoch University in 1992. Since then she has worked exclusively in small animal practice and even worked for a few years at the Murdoch Pet Emergency Centre. The knowledge gained from her tenure has been invaluable at the practice. Jo has a keen interest in small animal medicine but does enjoy all aspects of general practice.
In her spare time Jo is a keen cyclist. She is also kept busy maintaining the property she shares with husband Dr Tony and their 3 children.

Jane Shen
Senior Veterinarian (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)
Dr. Jane was first qualified as a veterinarian in 2009 with an overseas qualification. Such was her passion for this field that she decided to move to Australia in 2014 and completed her second Doctor of Veterinarian degree in Murdoch in 2019.
It may come as no surprise she cares greatly for animals, naturally she has a dog, a cat, a rabbit and two rats.
Jane takes a holistic approach to animal care, from forming a diagnosis to giving treatment options. Over the last few years, she has formed a great relationship with her clients and has helped countless animals.
She is a great team asset and is ready to help you today.
Jane Shen

Anu Dissanayake

Anu is a registered veterinarian in Sri Lanka before she came to Australia. She has since then completed her vet degree again in Murdoch in 2021. Anu has two beautiful girls at home and a ginger cat called Nigel.

Natalya Higgins
Senior Veterinarian (BVMS)
Natalya grew up in rural New South Wales where she developed her passion for looking after animals. Before working in Western Australia she worked as a small animal veterinarian in the UK. Natalya joined the practice in 2018 working as the regular Sunday duty veterinarian. She enjoys all aspects of health and welfare for all kinds of animals. Outside of work Natalya enjoys spending time with her family and friends and studying language

Lindsay Munro
Nurse Manager (Cert 4 Veterinary Nursing)
Lindsay joined the team at Bassendean in 2000 when she started as a trainee veterinary nurse. Over the years Lindsay has become a dedicated and most valuable team member and is now in the position as Practice Manager as well as continuing to perform duties of a veterinary nurse. Lindsay is responsible for the day to day running of the practice.
She is a big fan of chocolate Labradors (and chocolate of the food variety!), Vizslas, Shepherds and Westies of which she has had one of each. She also has a cat called Steve who is quite the character.

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV Veterinary Nursing)
Jodi is a fully qualified vet nurse who joined the practice in May of 2016. She has a wealth of nursing experience in small animal practice having worked in the veterinary industry for 12 years.
Within the practice, Jodi enjoys surgical nursing duties and also building relationships with our clients and patients at the reception desk. Outside of the clinic she has a love of horses and anything equestrian, riding whenever she can.
Jodi has a special interest in small, naughty dogs as she is the proud Mum to 3 of them! Ted, a cheeky Shih Tzu X, Henry, a lovely white and red crossbreed whose genetic origins are a bit of a mystery and Lucy, a sweet grey Cavoodle. She is also Mum to Moogle, a very pretty but somewhat chubby grey tortoiseshell cat.

Geraldine grew up in rural Ireland surrounded by animals at home and neighbouring farms. She loves, appreciates and respects all animals and the beauty of nature.
After spending many years working in a creative industry and traveling and working in different countries, she decided to study Veterinary nursing and has loved it ever since.
As a Registered Vet Nurse, she loves all aspects of vet nursing. When not at work she enjoys time with her partner, keeping fit, bush walking, swimming, eating good food and escaping to the great outdoors.
